Jeff Leishman started working in the boat business over 40 years ago commissioning boats at his older brother’s brokerage company. Developing an interest in boat architecture, Jeff earned an associate’s degree in design and engineering technology, and then went on to graduate from the Yacht Design Institute after submitting a design of a 46-foot ocean going motor yacht for his senior project. Recognizing Jeff’s talent, the three owners of P.A.E. hired him on as chief designer and he has gone on to pen each boat in the extensive Nordhavn line. Jeff, now a partner in the company, focuses all his efforts on perfecting existing designs and drawing the lines of future Nordhavns.
