Riza Cakir, has been Nordhavn Yachts’ representative in Turkey and the Eastern Mediterranean since 2012. He is the founder of channel.R, a full-service yacht sales, charter, and management concierge in Turkey as well as the Sales & Marketing Manager of Emek Marin, an Eastern European-based sales and service provider to many luxury brands including Nordhavn. In the past two decades, Cakir has sold numerous new and used Nordhavns, while also serving as a liaison between Nordhavn and the Turkish factory where the N41 and N51 models are manufactured, and has built a welcoming community for all Nordhavn owners there. As the grandson of Emek’s founder, Cakir sought to add the Nordhavn brand to Emek’s portfolio, identifying the quality, philosophy, company support and Nordhavn owner participation and passion as characteristics that align with the product excellence Emek Marin is known for.
