Many of you will remember the exploits of the Nordhavn 55 #10, Global Adventure. Renowned radio talk show host Keith DeGreen broadcasted his weekly show from aboard GA as he traversed the Pacific on one of the greatest adventures of his life.

When it was time for Keith’s adventure to come to an end, he left the boat in Hong Kong and flew home to resume his “other” life. Global Adventure was listed for sale through the Nordhavn Yachts Southwest sales office and was marketed world wide through our six brokerage offices and web site.

Demonstrating the international aspect of the Nordhavn world, GA’s purchaser worked with Peter Devers in our office in Australia who was assisted by Bart Kimman of Asia Yacht Services who is based in Hong Kong.

Fast forward a few months and Global Adventure has started her second life as Amandla II with her new owner. Dominique is French speaking and has created a family web site in French. Finally our French speaking Nordhavn fans can read about their favorite boats in their native tongue.

Amandla II has now departed Hong Kong and Dominique and his family will spend the next year or two cruising in Asia from Singapore to Japan.
