Pacific Asian Enterprises, Inc. is pleased to announce the Nordhavn 51 will be one of three boats featured in the company’s exhibit at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. The N51 is Nordhavn’s most recent break-out star, with 18 hulls under agreement, sight unseen. The first hull was delivered earlier this spring in Turkey and hull 2 will be on display at FLIBS, marking the model’s public debut. “The boat is really impressive,” said Nordhavn salesman James Leishman, who has sold 3 N51s including hull #1. “I think people are going to be blown away when they step on board. The quality is unbelievable.” And the performance is better than expected: during 5101’s first voyage, the crew ran at an average speed of 9 knots and easily pushed her to 11 knots.

Alongside the debutante 51 will be her bigger sisterships, the Nordhavn 60 and the Nordhavn 59 Coastal Pilot. Like the Nordhavn 51, (which is currently on a container ship making its way to Florida from Turkey), the other two display boats are fresh out of the factory. The N59CP will be the elder statesman of the trio, having arrived at Nordhavn’s Southeast Commissioning Hub in May. “This Fort Lauderdale Boat Show really is a golden opportunity for buyers to see the absolute latest in our design ideas and the level of craftsmanship being output by our partner factories,” said PAE President Dan Streech. “Our original philosophy about hull design has not wavered in 35 years but there has been an incredible evolution of products, features, equipment and concepts. All of this will be on full display at the Nordhavn exhibit this year at FLIBS.”

Effectively what is being offered is the chance to inspect the most popular Nordhavn ever built in the N60, alongside the newest design to come from Naval Architect Jeff Leishman with the Nordhavn 51, and the most adept, seaworthy coastal cruiser on the market with the Nordhavn 59CP. It will be a little bit of something for every buyer who has Nordhavn on their list of go-see brands.
