Contemporary Warwick design, large, light and usable interior and built in NZ by Alloy Yachts. FREEDOM has a pedigree that preceeds her in every port! Well known for both Sail and Power designs, a Warwick is easily identified on anchor or underway. Always sleek and modern but in a traditional style. Purposeful, fast and safe, and based on word of other Warwick design owners – always a pleasure to own!
FREEDOM features a large “one level” entertaining area from her cockpit aft, to her inside helm station forward. This open and useable space includes two separate seating areas in the Saloon, an easily accessible galley, 6-seater dinette forward that is opposite of the lower helm station, two access doors that provide easy access to the wide walkaround decks and excellent ventilation to the entire interior. If you are not fortunate enough to be “Captain” and at the helm, the dinette opposite is the place to be underway with excellent views and a seating height and space perfect for keeping the Captain company. Forward and down a deck is the cabin area featuring a Master SR forward with ensuite, another double with ensuite and a twin berth cabin – also with it’s own ensuite.
The two most striking features of FREEDOM (that illustrate the true innovation of the design) are the EXPANSIVE flybridge and easy launch and retrieve tender “garage” in the stern. The flybridge forward includes a (4) seat doublebacked helm seat that is on the centerline aft of the helm with full controls, instrumentation and navigation equipment. To port and starboard and running the entire length of the flybridge deck are plenty of straight settee seating for all of your friends and family. There is an arch overhead (more modern styling) and another bench seat that runs the full width of the boat aft. The tender garage occupies the second half of the engine room space aft and is a feature not seen on many launches until well into the 2000s. The innovative set up brings the tender onboard with and electric winch into a custom cradle where the tender is out of the sun, easy to get to for service work and a “cinch” to launch for a quick fish, a trip to shore or some sight seeing with cocktails. Once the garage is “closed” this space returns to a easy accessible bathing platform, boarding platform and outdoor space.
Forward and down a few steps brings you to the cabin areas. Forward is the Master stateroom which utilizes the full beam forward to include a Queen sized double, built in storage cabinets port and starboard, built in storage aft on each side of the bed, large portlights and updated lighting that give this cabin open and airy feel. There is an ensuite in the Master that splits the shower from the head compartment. To port is a large shower area, sink and vanity. The second compartment has an electric toilet, large vanity and sink and excellent storage. The (2) other cabins on this level each include their own ensuites. One cabin has a large double berth and the other cabins has two good sized singles. Each cabin has excellent storage and plenty of light and ventilation.
