Overview

Designed for the east coast and LOVED in the Salish Sea!   The Albin 31 was one of the first of its kind to start the ‘Conversion Cruiser’ style that is so sought after in the Pacific Northwest.

Known for its sea kindliness and its robust build, the Albin 31 is perfect for the fisherman with a family and/or the cruiser that dabbles with fishing with its large cockpit, wide beam, Alaska bulkhead and two berths. ‘SISTERSHIP’ is made to go further and stay longer with all the creature comforts.

Albin Marine was founded in Sweden in 1899 as a marine diesel engine and boat manufacturer. Successor to Albin Motor, Albin Marine entered the U.S. market in 1966 and become recognized worldwide manufacturing products in Sweden, the United States, and Taiwan. Fred Peters has been the President of Albin Marine since the company’s emergence into the U.S. market. In 1981, Volvo Penta acquired the marine engine division. Albin builds Down East cruising and fishing boats in their 147,000-square foot facility located in Portsmouth, RI.

Albin Trawlers are diesel powered and designed in the North Sea tradition to withstand the roughest waters. From their classic yachts, the North Sea sail and motor boats produced in Sweden, to offshore Trawlers produced in Taiwan, all Albin boats are seaworthy vessels powered by reputable engines. Known as the “Fishing Machine for the Cruising Family”.  With over 115 years in the marine field, Albin caters to cruising families and avid sports fisherman alike with their fleet of motor boats and yachts ranging from 28-45 feet.

Accommodations:
Stepping onto the large-for-its-size swim deck, you enter the cockpit through the transom door located on the port side.  The cockpit is fully bolstered.  Rod holders are under the gunwales.  A storage and tackle box is nestled in the starboard corner of the cockpit.  Entering into the salon/pilothouse through outward opening double doors is a large bench seat to port.  To starboard is a sink and prep station with a NorCold refrigerator and storage below. Just forward of that is the helm chair. Large windows allow for great natural light, slide open for ventilation, and good visibility while piloting the boat.

Continuing forward through the boat, three steps down, is the cabin. Off to the port side is another NorCold refrigerator, sink, GE microwave and a Force 10 two-burner stove with plenty of storage.  There is a quarter berth underneath the helm station. Looking forward is a large V-berth that converts into a dining area as well. To the starboard side of the boat is the head, which is equipped with a stall shower electric flush marine head and freshwater sink.
