OVERVIEW

“Paloma” is hull #5 of the Nordhavn 41series, and the second Nordhavn for her owners. Their first, a Nordhavn 43, was purchased 20 years ago. Their extended cruising experience on the “43” has transferred to the “41”. Her asking price fairly reflects her level of equipment, post-factory customization, and the care and maintenance taken by her owners. “Paloma’s” equipment specification has kept her current for extended cruising in any Latitude. Pride of ownership is apparent in every space. This is the nicest Nordhavn 41 to come to market in a long time, as the specifications below will confirm.

The interior layout is master stateroom-forward, with a second stateroom midship.

If you are one who has lamented the cessation of the Nordhavn 41 production, consider this singular example. “Paloma” is comfortable, up to date-cruise-ready, a yacht to make you a proud owner, and set for a lifetime of adventure cruising the incredible waters of the Pacific Northwest, Washington, British Columbia, Mexico, Central America, or wherever you aspire to explore.

SPECIFICATIONS

The hull is resin-infused fiberglass construction cored from 12” above the waterline to the shear.

The decks are cored with a combination of high density foam and end grain balsa.

MECHANICAL:
The twin engines are Beta 85T based on a Kubota 3307T block.
The propeller shaft material is 1-3/4” diameter Aquamet 22, with Tides shaft seals. The original dual engine controls have been upgraded to ZF MC-2000-2 electronic controls for precise shift and throttle operation.

All coolants for both engines and generator changed (2026)
Annually, all oils and filters, fuel filters and impellers replaced by Craig Hatton

New VDO tachometers have replaced the originals.

Consumption is approximately 2 gal/hr. at 1600 RPM. Speed through the water at that RPM is approximately 6.5-8.0 knots.

The original exhaust blankets and belt guards were replaced in 2025.
Note: All engine/mechanical service has been performed by Craig Hatton, one of the most competent and respected engine/generator techs in the Pacific Northwest.

Stabilizer System:
The stabilizer system consists of ABT TRAC 220 fins, with TRACLink CANbus controls, hydraulically driven from a power takeoff on the port engine. The system includes reversing (astern) sensors that lock the fins in the center position when reverse is detected, then release when forward is again detected.

Fuel System:
“Paloma” is fitted with the Nordhavn fuel system, offering maximum flexibility with the capability of isolating, directing and also pre-filtering (polishing) contaminated fuel. There are two 450 gallon fiberglass storage tanks laminated with vinylester resin, fitted with magnetic level sensors. The fiberglass construction method eliminates the risk of perforated welds or plating over the life of the boat.

The system also includes Racor duplex 75500MAX fuel filters with cross-over valves.

Supply and return manifolds and the inclusion of a central supply/manifold tank allow precise control of the stored fuel onboard, directing it to the main engines and generator.
