Marley spent his childhood sailing the waters of Australia’s East Coast before completing a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing and Management in 2011. On completion, he started a yacht management business in Sydney where he learned the importance of being customer focused to achieve success as well as intimately learned the systems of yachts of all shapes and sizes. With an opportunity to join the crew of a 52m Superyacht in Thailand, he left Sydney chasing adventure. He went on to skipper a range of long passage deliveries around Asia including to Thailand, Singapore, the Philippines, Sri Lanka and India.
In 2014 Marley was asked to deliver a Nordhavn 60 “Last Samurai” from Cabo, Mexico to Sydney, Australia. This exciting 4 month voyage through Hawaii, Fanning Island, Samoa, Fiji, New Caledonia then Sydney not only gave him intricate understanding of the N60’s systems and operations but is where his passion for the Nordhavn brand was born.
Marley went on to head up a well respected Marina and Yacht Brokerage business in Sydney where his knowledge and experience, coupled with his down to earth and honest approach lead to success. In 2020 he spent the Miami Boat Show with the PAE team onboard the N120 Aurora and also spent the 2022 Fort Lauderdale Boat Show onboard the N41 with PAE.
In early 2023 Marley unloaded the first Nordhavn 41 to hit Australian Waters and with the new owners, prepared and delivered her from Newcastle to her home Port of Brisbane. Marley received the following feedback from the owners of the N41
