The official Fall boat show season kicks off in just two weeks with the Lido Yacht Expo on the west coast and the Newport International Boat Show in the east. And Nordhavns will be represented in full force on both sides of the country.

At the Lido Yacht Expo, held in Newport Beach, CA, Nordhavn will be represented by the 40 and 47. These two models have grown to be two of the most popular models in the line. Ideal for couples, these boats are both roomy and easily handled by their owners. The show runs September 7-10.

Meanwhile, the Newport of the east coast, Newport, RI, plays host to the Newport International Boat Show, where the Nordhavn 40 will once again be open for viewing. This particular 40, Commander, is available for charter, and in fact, several prospects have tested out Commander prior to purchasing their own Nordhavns. At the other end of the spectrum is a Nordhavn 72. After climbing aboard both display boats, you’ll get a good feel for how P.A.E. can make a yacht feel spacious no matter what size she is. The Newport Show runs September 14-17. At the same time just a few doors down is the Newport Brokerage Show where we’ll feature Adventure, the Nordhavn 62 recently listed for sale. She has been well broken-in and is very cruise ready.

Available for inspection at the five-day Boats Afloat show in Seattle’s Lake Union (September 13-17) are the Nordhavn 40 and 55. If you have yet to see a Nordhavn 55 – one of P.A.E.’s hottest sellers right now – this will be a great opportunity to get on board the recently delivered hull# 14. Meanwhile, if you are in the market to buy a new boat and don’t want to wait out a lengthy production cycle, this beautiful new Nordhavn 40 is available and ready for her next buyer.

Perhaps you’d like to take a few classes on long-distance cruising while getting to inspect a variety of trawlers. If that’s the case, the Solomons Trawler Fest is the right show for you. Held in picturesque Solomons, MD, September 28-30, Nordhavn will be participating with a 47 and 62. Both of these boats are top quality brokerage models and ready for immediate purchase.

Down the Chesapeake a bit is the United States Power Boat Show, October 12-15. AKA the Annapolis Show, it boats the biggest powerboat display in the northeast. Nordhavn will be featuring Kellie Anne, a gorgeously appointed and well-thought out 47. In addition, we are excited to be debuting the Nordhavn 64. Hull #3 is a perfect example of the latest design philosophy at Nordhavn which focuses heavily on interior accommodations.

Capping off the season is the huge Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, October 26-30. Marred last year by Hurricane Wilma, this year’s show is expected to be a stand-out (weather permitting) with three terrific Nordhavns on display. Check out a brand new N40/II and N43. Both are unowned and ready for exploration. Or take a look at a Nordhavn 55. Her layout is second to none.
