The first Nordhavn Expedition Yachtfisher has left the grounds of the South Coast Yacht Yard and is now on a ship bound for California. It’s estimated to be about a three week transit making arrival to San Diego in mid-February. The buzz over PAE’s radical new design has reached fever pitch as the EYF is expected to throw both the trawler and the sportfishing industries on their ears. These photos show the new EYF being taken from the factory grounds where it is placed on the factory-owned barge and brought to one of several shipping ports. The boat was fully tank tested prior to being moved for transit.
