When Braun and Tina Jones bought their Nordhavn 62 six years ago, they may as well have adopted the motto, “Have Grey Pearl, will travel”, because they’ve pretty much been non-stop on her since then having traveled from Mexico to the East Coast, through the Panama Canal, down the Carribbean and up to New England, and across the Atlantic with the Nordhavn Atlantic Rally (NAR) to explore European and Middle Eastern countries lining the Mediterranean. They shipped her back home 2 years ago, only to join the Med Bound rally last summer bringing her from Florida to Bermuda and finally home to Annapolis.
Winter brought a return trip to Florida, and now, as Tina Jones puts it: the good ship Grey Pearl is once again bound for adventure on the high seas. Joining them on board are fellow NAR alum, John and Sue Spencer who own N40 Uno Mas. Headed due south, the fun-loving foursome are guiding Grey Pearl along Mexico and the Central American coast en route to the Panama Canal. These seasoned travelers of the sea have lots of interesting and informative (and often humorous) tidbits to pass along, so join them for an exciting journey via the entries of their logbook…click here
