Ben and Penelope Pierce are having fun building their new Nordhavn. They are in regular contact with their PAE sales person Devin Zwick and the PAE project manager for the build of their boat Justin Zumwalt and strong relationships have been formed.
But what about the dedicated workforce and staff at the Ta Shing factory in Taiwan? Well.. for now, because there are still quarantine restrictions for new arrivals in Taiwan, those relationships have had to develop virtually thru the internet….But, they HAVE developed! Having your new Nordhavn built is a very personal and creative and exhilarating experience. You want the people involved in building your boat to have the same positive attitude and passion as you do. In actuality, that is the norm throughout the PAE organization, but it doesn’t hurt to toss in a few “thank yous” along the way.
Last Friday, an important milestone was reached in the construction of N6842….The hull and deck were joined. This was a good moment for Ben and Penelope to thank the Ta Shing factory for their superb work….so lunch was served to the entire factory courtesy of Ben and Penelope.
But… the real heroes are Ben and Penelope themselves because without Nordhavn buyers, there would be no Nordhavns. So…to show their appreciation for the N6842 order, all of the factory people assembled for photos.
