Keeping Cool on the N40 Spirit Wolf
While many in North America are experiencing scorching temps at the moment, Bernard Cyr and Monique Nobert had to bundle up on the cockpit of their N40 Spirit Wolf as they reeled in dinner earlier this week. Anchored in Lake Superior off of Michipicoten Island in Ontario, Bernard said the air and water temps were identical: a cool 39.2 degrees! Less than ideal for snorkeling, but excellent for fishing with Monique catching a couple of trout and Bernard landing a nice salmon. “Besides,” joked Bernard, “Spirit Wolf is equipped with a Hurricane heating system. We’ll keep warm this summer.”
