There are more than just a few Nordhavn customers who reached retirement age and wondered what they were going to do with themselves. Maybe you feel this way right now. Each decided that they were too young at heart to plop down in a BarcaLounger in front of a television for the rest of their lives and let the world spin under their feet. There was something more out there for them, something beckoning them to keep their minds sharp, their bodies active and their souls fulfilled. It was adventure calling!
How many of us have spent years cooped up in an office, oftentimes catching ourselves staring out the windows, watching the movement of life all around us and daydreaming about how it could be? Perhaps you’ve got a coastal cruiser you buzz around in on the weekends, only to return back to the daily grind on Monday morning and wonder where those yachts loaded down with equipment and gear that plied the waterways around you are headed. Surely they are on course for some distant shore; you could tell by the captain’s eyes that he had the glint of an adventurer.
In this business, we see it right up close and personal, almost on a daily basis. There is a common thread in our Nordhavn Customers and that thread is called Enthusiastic Vitality. It isn’t easy to take the reins of our retirement years and break away from the norm. However, the rewards are spectacularly reaped! For all we know, we have one go-around on this earth. for us would be, “Where do you want to go today?” It’s a question that our Nordhavn owners ask themselves all the time and one not taken
lightly…because they truly have any corner of the world at their beck and call.
