Ever since the end of the Nordhavn Atlantic Rally in 2004, people have asked what PAE’s next great feat would be. Thankfully, our intrepid owners have stepped in with a number of cool adventures à la Medbound 2007, TheVoyage of Egret, the Great Siberian Sushi Run, and Braving the Northwest Passage. We are thankful that they’ve taken the heat off us these past few years. But we are now ready to reveal the next great Nordhavn adventure. Announcing the Nordhavn Invitational Mad Fish Hunt!

OK, so it doesn’t exactly carry the “thrill of the high seas” drama that say, the Around-the-World Voyage did back in 2000. But we think Nordhavn owners will get a big kick out of this contest. It’s pretty much something each one can relate to. After all, what’s cruising on a Nordhavn without casting a few lines to see if anything bites?

The competition is open to all Nordhavn owners and their guests. There’s even a special category for fisherkids (under 16 years old). And the winners will be handsomely rewarded. (Rewarded with what? You’ll just have to enter to find out!) Be forewarned: we’re allowing comments from the peanut gallery (aka the nordhavn.com viewing public) to sway our vote!

You might expect that a fishing challenge inaugurated by Nordhavn would have the tagline “Big Oceans, Big Fish”, but that’s not necessarily the case.
