With the official deadline for entries into the Mad Fish Hunt just days away, PAE’s inbox has been flooded with e-mail regarding its esteemed fishing contest. Actually, they’ve been more like complaints from people taking us to task over the timing of our little contest. It seems the hectic schedules most experience between Thanksgiving and New Year’s (go figure) have left little opportunity for boating and even less time to dedicate toward reeling in that massive trophy – the one that will land them the coveted Mad Fish Hunt t-shirt they’ve been dreaming about.
We get it. Seriously, who are we to stand in the way of one’s quest for a tee emblazoned with a fabulous crazy-looking fish logo? Not to mention the bragging rights, and quite likely, having your name splashed across fishing magazines and online angling blogs that go along with capturing one of the top prizes.
We can’t live with that on our consciences. So we’ve extended the deadline for Mad Fish Hunt submissions to March 21, 2010. We’ll welcome Spring with the announcement of our contest winners. And remember, you don’t have to be an owner to play our fishing game. You simply need to be on a Nordhavn (or a Nordhavn-based tender) at the time of your catch.
So get out there and show off your skills! And if you need a little encouragement, check out our gallery of inspirational shots which includes pictures of past prize catches earned by Nordhavn owners and even some Nordhavn staff. (OK, maybe use the shots of PAE President Dan Streech and Project Manager Dave Harlow less as inspiration and more as comfort that you are not the worst fisherman in the world.)
