Overview

The Nordhavn 43 MV “Calypso” is a serious ocean-going compact live-aboard passagemaker. This model Nordhavn has undertaken extreme voyages, and countless successful ocean crossings. MV “Calypso” is a boat in which to live, and to safely take you to the ocean’s most remote locations. Every aspect of her construction reflects best marine construction practice and her systems are designed first and foremost to deliver safety and security. Nordhavn, as a manufacturer jealously guard their reputation as leaders in their ever-increasing market. Acutely aware of the fact that respect is earned not given, while they one of only a few manufacturers to design and build a ‘production’ passagemaker Nordhavn ensure that the vessels they build exceed their owners expectations in every way. MV ‘Calypso” is an excellent example of the craftmanship and robust engineering for which the brand is reknown.

She is equipped with a mast tabernacle, for lowering of her mast and exhaust stack, which along with her moderate air draft of 32′ in operational mode, allows here to potentially navigate waterways with bridge clearance obstacles.

MV “Calypso” is equipped with a very complete cruising and spares inventory. Her new owners can be confident that she is prepared for her next voyage, with all systems fully operational, and bluewater ready. MV “Calypso” offers the popular two stateroom, two bathroom layout, allowing a cruising couple to share their experiences with family or occasional guests.

Remarks
Comprehensive set of Ships Operation Manuals.
The Nordhavn 43, like it’s sister models, is built like the proverbial ice-breaker, as if it were a much larger vessel.

MV “Calypso” has been used lightly but regularly, reflecting her very low hours for a vessel of her age. Her inventory displays a most well equipped vessel, which will give her new owners many years of reliable service. The Nordhavn 43 utilizes every square inch of space. She is a homely boat and despite her (relative) small size for a long-range passagemaker, she is a vessel that very much enhances her operator’s ability and confidence.

Exclusions: Owner’s personal belongings, binoculars, books and art.
