For the astute buyer, this well maintained Nordhavn is ready in all aspects, to cruise both the tropical waters of northern Australia and beyond, or head south for some of the best cruising in the world around our southern coastline and then across to NZ. Engine: Engine Make: Lugger Refrigeration: Hot Water System: Accommodation: INTERIOR LAYOUT- GENERAL: The asymmetrical layout allows extra interior saloon space and galley with the port cabin side extending to the port rail. Enter the salon through the cockpit/aft saloon door. To starboard just inside the door is the entertainment unit and recliner black leather Directors chair with foot rest, matching the settee to port that pulls out to a double bed. At the forward end of the saloon to port is the galley, with generous counter space, and double bowl sink conveniently located at the outboard corner of the galley, with ample drawer and locker storage. The dishwasher and garbage compactor make the galley any cook’s dream. To starboard of the galley companionway steps lead up to the pilot house. Two large opening windows and four fixed windows in the saloon provide good natural lighting, visibility and ventilation to this important section of the vessel. Blinds fitted in main saloon. Three exterior docking stations along with the main helm station make docking in all conditions and positions a very easy matter. On the starboard side of the pilot house, inside companionway steps have direct access to the master stateroom, ensuite, guest stateroom and guest’s ensuite. Both rooms have ample hanging and storage space. The engine room access door is in the aft bulkhead of the master stateroom. The master stateroom has an athwart-ship queen size bed with hanging lockers fore and aft, drawer storage under and beside the bed and a large dressing mirror on the forward bulkhead. Access to the master ensuite is to starboard, inside the master stateroom. Teak & cherry floors and carpet feature throughout the boat. DECK LAYOUT GENERAL: The transom has a very useful swim step and transom door to the aft cockpit. From the cockpit there is access to the foredeck via the starboard side deck. There is a boarding door in the bulwark of the starboard side deck at midships. At the forward end of the side deck are steps up to the pilothouse deck and Portuguese bridge, and foredeck. The foredeck is well-designed for working. Just forward of the Portuguese bridge are deck gear storage lockers. All the way forward is the ground tackle handling area, where the windlass, anchor locker deck hatch, and anchor rollers channels are situated in an area of the deck moulded to contain mud and debris. All decks drain to the waterline to prevent streaking of the hull with residue. A full cover for the foredeck prevents the sun from fading gel-coat and offers shade to the guest stateroom so the hatch can be left open for the breezes. Following the Portuguese bridge to port allows access to the port pilothouse door and steps up to the upper boat deck. The boat deck may also be accessed from the cockpit ladder aft. On the boat deck are the tender, davit with replaced dyneema at over twice rated capacity, and liferaft cradle. There is a lot of room on the boat deck for the additional deck box storage ( newly installed 08-2017) and lounging. MASTER CABIN: Accessed from the pilothouse and well situated low and in the middle of the boat. MASTER HEAD: Granite counter tops with mirror fitted to the front of cabinet over the sink. GUEST CABIN: Double berth located forward. GUEST HEAD: Granite counter tops with mirror fitted to the front of cabinet over the sink.
