Nordhavn history was made over the weekend with the arrival of Nordhavn 40#68 Passe Partout in Brisbane, Australia. It marks the first Nordhavn 40 ever delivered to the Southern Hemisphere. The boat was offloaded yesterday and brought the short distance to nearby Scarborough Marina, by delivery crew which included Peter Devers, sales manager, and Andrew Wadham, head of commissioning of Nordhavn’s Australasia office. The boat will undergo commissioning by Wadham and the Australian service team; first order of business, a thorough detail and then stepping the mast. “Despite just having come off the ship, this boat looks great,” Devers commented. “Her interior is totally complete and is so special. The owner should be thrilled.” Owners Bernhard and Naree Saiko were scheduled to see her today. Their plans kick off with taking Passe Partout around Australia’s east coast.
