It’s Sunday morning and I heard about some really bad weather, think snow and wind, that would be in the area where I knew Jan and Tom Newman and their N41 Meraki, were traveling. Being honorary virtual crew, I checked in with them. They were south of the bad weather, but reported Meraki was doing great in 6 Beaufort winds, up to 27 knots and waves up to 13′. It was also a day of celebration as they had just logged their first 1,000 miles! Congratulations Tom and Jan!

Intrigued that the helm layout is different than I’ve seen before.
Looked you up after spotting your US flag in Yarmouth IOW. Googled you as were very intrigued with the Alaska journey. Good luck and safe travels!
