Notes about this boat that makes it special:  “The name is a homage to Molly (Holzshu) obviously, but in addition a reference to the “unsinkable Molly B” we hope blesses the boat with good fortune.  Margaret Brown (July 18, 1867 – October 26, 1932), posthumously known as the “Unsinkable Molly Brown“, was an American socialite, leader of the women’s suffrage movement, and philanthropist. She was a survivor of the RMS Titanic, which sank in 1912, and she urged the crew in Lifeboat No. 6 to return to the debris field to look for survivors, threatening to throw the captain overboard if they did not return.  During her lifetime, her friends called her “Maggie”, but by her death, obituaries referred to her as the “Unsinkable Mrs. Brown”.  Brown’s fame as a Titanic survivor helped her promote the philanthropic and activism issues she felt strongly about.  She was concerned about the rights of workers and women, education and literacy for children, historic preservation, and commemoration of the bravery and chivalry displayed by the men aboard the Titanic.”

What an honor to work with Molly & Chris, in building MOLLY B, and helping them realize their dream of owning and running such a magnificent cruising vessel. And the adventures are only really just beginning!!! All best wishes for fair winds . . . and smooth seas, for this intrepid couple.
