With all major FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic) structural assemblies in place, hull #1 from the Nordhavn 72 production line moves toward its scheduled June completion date. Ta Shing’s skilled craftsmen and engineers together with PAE’s naval architect, project managers and engineers are putting the final touches on this magnificent vessel. Those who have visited the factory and viewed this vessel first hand have come away in awe and nearly speechless at the size, grandeur and quality of this fine yacht. Once again, naval architect Jeff Leishman’s talent of penning lines of perfect proportion, symmetry and beauty shows itself in the Nordhavn 72.As of this writing, hull #2 has been released from the mold and hull #3 is in the lamination process. PAE has orders on the first 10 N72s and a production rate of 4 boats per year.
