Notes about this boat:
N7626 Tugnacious – there has to be a story behind that name!
Chris Roehrig, the owner, is a tug boat captain and the prior owner of a large towing company in rough and tumble New York Harbor. Needless to say, he has bought and sold many commercial tugs over the years.
He sought out Nordhavn to create a boat that somehow incorporated his passion for tugboats. The result, his dream “tug”, a Nordhavn trawler that would take him, his wife Eileen and two daughters anywhere they wanted to go safely and in comfort. Several special features on this boat include a custom Miele coffee bar, Besenzoni gangway, stainless steel backlit transom name, triple redundancy with the three generators and many other custom details. Chris and Eileen spent countless hours working on the interior and exterior details and their hard work paid off. Tugnacious is beautiful, inside and out.

Came here after admiring her at her mooring in Charlestown, the marina adjacent to the USS Constitution on Boston Harbor. Distinctive name made her easy to find. She’s a beauty. Wish she were mine!
