The second Nordhavn 80, ourtheory, was delivered to her owners last month, a gorgeous yacht that spent most of her construction time under the tight restrictions caused by the pandemic. So much of the fine details of her interior were executed based on drawings, email, and video conferences between the designer, project manager and factory craftspeople. But the team didn’t miss a beat and the result is an exquisite showpiece exuding comfort, luxury, and of course, functionality.

The design brief for ourtheory’s interior was to provide warm and cozy spaces that mimicked the same casual-luxury feeling of the owners’ southern California home. Interior designer James Glover achieved the mood by incorporating beachy neutrals, light woods, natural textures, and plush furniture that emphasized comfortability. The heavily-veined marble, featured in countertops throughout the entire yacht, make a huge impact and carry a modern organic theme from room to room.
