The first Saturday of the Big Seattle ’10-day’ January Boat Show has become a Seattle office tradition for PAE to host the “It’s Almost Spring!” gathering for Nordhavn owners in the region, visitors and business associates.
A casual evening at the Seattle Yacht Club out station at the Elliott Bay Marina is the ideal venue.
Szmania’s, a local Seattle ‘fav’, again created the perfect buffet. By request, we had to bring back Ludger’s famous ‘melt in your mouth’ smoked salmon in addition to his other delicacies that he features in his restaurant. His desserts alone are worth the price of admission.
Don Kohlmann, NW Sales Manager was working the room welcoming the 50+ guests and making sure that they were aware of how much we appreciate their attendance and their loyalty to Nordhavn.
Steve Cridland, one of Nordhavn’s favorite photographers, made a special trip up to Seattle to attend, knowing a good party with Nordhavn folks is always an affair worth attending. Steve graciously took lots of photos – Thanks Steve!
Gene & Martha Paxton summed up the evening best: “What a nice evening you gave us. We do look forward each year to the ‘It’s Almost Spring Gathering’. Met some new Nordhavn owners and revisited old friends of the past. Good food and lots of catching up.”
