Over the coming weeks, the Nordhavn Yachts Northwest staff will be busy preparing for its relocation from Lake Union to Elliott Bay Marina. Not only will the move provide a bigger space for the employees of this thriving office to work from, it puts sales right next to the Northwest commissioning and service center which is performed out of Emerald Harbor Yacht Service, also situated at Elliot Bay Marina.

As with all Nordhavn U.S. sales offices, Nordhavn Yachts Northwest is owned and operated by Pacific Asian Enterprises, headquartered in Dana Point, CA.  The Northwest office first opened in Seattle in September of 2005, and is one of six manufacturer-direct sales offices; four in the U.S., a European sales office based in Southampton, UK., and an Australasian office.

The Seattle force is headed by Northwest regional sales manager Don Kohlmann and includes marine industry veteran salesperson Barbara Lippert, and office manager Wilma Bracken.

“I could not imagine a better location”, Kohlmann said of the move. “Although Elliot Bay Marina was my first choice to base operations from back in 2005, no vacancies existed. So I jumped at the chance when this location became available. I’m pleased to be in such a beautiful and well-run marina, and feel it will provide us with better exposure, a more efficient operation overall, and easier access for clients.”

Customers can visit Nordhavn Yachts Northwest at its new location beginning August 18.
