A few years ago P.A.E.’s partner factory, South Coast, raised a second facility for which to build the 40, 47 and 55 – newer models at the time – and ease the production burden at the other older plant in Taiwan. Now, with 17 boats currently in various stages of construction, the Xiamen factory is operating at nearly maximum capacity and efficiency.

Last week, P.A.E. President Dan Streech and Vice-President Jim Leishman visited South Coast to complete construction agreements on the brand new Nordhavn 75 EYF project, and witnessed the productivity first hand. “We were very pleased with the factory’s performance,” Dan said. “The enthusiasm for our boats is evident here.”

Led by excellent management systems and a seasoned workforce, South Coast is now cranking out more gorgeous Nordhavns than ever before. And, notes Dan Streech: “each one is better than the last.”
