Steady progress on the Nordhavn 59 Coastal Pilot continues with work on the hull molds nearing completion at the South Coast factory in Xiamen, China. Photos captured of construction on the N59 CP, taken earlier this week, show the deck plug as well as the fairing in of the hull plug.

Nordhavn’s Chief of Design Jeff Leishman and his brother, company vice-president Jim Leishman, will travel to South Coast next month to inspect the plugs before giving factory workers the go-ahead to begin final fairing in preparation for the molds to be built.Plans call for the first hull to lay up in February 2015.
