The Nordhavn 52 has enjoyed a boom in popularity as of late and just weeks ago, the most recent hull was shipped to Australia. It’s the second N52 to be delivered to Australia making that boat truly global in its appeal.
The N52 is based on the hull of the 47, which became the fastest selling new design in Nordhavn’s history, with 22 hulls sold sight unseen. The allure of the 47 lied in her size which offered owners an abundance of space for couples or a family to relax while still being easily handled without need for crew. The 52 took that concept and expanded on it, most notably with the addition of a large cockpit space, designated as a fabulous outdoor lounge area.
Hull #67 was recently shipped from the South Coast factory in China to our Australasia office in Brisbane. She’s currently being commissioned by a combined team of techs from both Nordhavn California and Nordhavn Australia at the site of
the Australasia office in the Rivergate Marina and Shipyard. This weekend the new owners are undergoing training alongside their salesman Peter Devers with a cruise to Coomera. She’ll stay in Coomera for final fitting, detailing and then will be handed over to her new owners.
