After unloading the Nordhavn 63 in Port Everglades last week and bringing her up to Nordhavn’s southeast commissioning facility in Stuart, Florida, the crew focused this week on testing and checking the boat’s systems.

What’s next for the N63? Installation of all the exterior gear including the communication equipment: The pilothouse top and radar platform will be filled with open array radars, satellite communication domes, VHF / GPS and other antennae, and other necessary equipment will put into place.

Following communications systems will be installation of the ship’s 15′ dinghy on the foredeck.

About two months from now the interior decor will be finalized and the boat will be professionally photographed just prior to the owner taking delivery and cruising off into the sunset.
