Formally trained in Marine Systems and Yacht Design, Matt oversees much of Nordhavn’s systems design work as well as compliance with domestic safety standards, international standards for boats delivered outside of North America, and the creation of owner’s manuals, interior drawings, and technical documentation provided with each boat. Matt is an accomplished blue-water sailor with extensive time at sea under power and sail, including a full circumnavigation. He brings a profound respect for the sea and a deep understanding of what cruisers want and need when underway.
