Ever since seeing the film Pretty Woman in 1990
Ever since seeing the film Pretty Woman in 1990 I have dreamed of a Julia and ever since traveling from Ireland to the FLIBS in 2008 and seeing a Nordhavn 62 and a (The) new 55 on display, I have dreamed of owning a Nordhavn. These dreams came together today when I take possession of Nordhavn 6061 called Julie 2.
Like many Dreamers at this stage in looking at a pre-loved boat, I nervously contacted Philip in the UK Office to see what the story was. There is always a thought in the back of your mind at this stage that you would be deemed a “time waster”, “your man is on again” whispers in the office, as you can just imagine the number of calls I have made since 2008. Philip was nothing but 100% supportive and engaging even at that early stage. I took a deep breath, made an offer and 4 months later here we are with grateful thanks to Philip and the original owner. It was a painless experience.
