The first new Nordhavn 71 will not launch until 2023 but the design is already proving popular with those looking for a modern passagemaker in the 70-plus-foot range. Now she will broaden her appeal with the option of being built without a flybridge. The non-flybridge Nordhavn has established itself as the iconic symbol of the brand, and is the look most aficionados associate with Nordhavn. While most Nordhavn models are standard with a flybridge, several have been designed without one, most notably the now classic and much beloved Nordhavn 62 and its spiritual successor the Nordhavn 63. Recognizing it’s a matter of taste or use, PAE will offer models as either FB-standard or non-FB when possible to give buyers an option. It was a former N63 owner who was so partial to the no-flybridge style of his boat that he requested a non-FB custom N68 for his next boat. The result was a gorgeous new N68 variant which was recently featured in this Aquaholic video.
The no-flybridge Nordhavn 71 design was born at the request of another N63 owner who liked the lines of the N71 but preferred the no-flybridge look of his current boat. The result is a beautiful new variant of N71 which will have strong appeal to that group of Nordhavn afficionados who love their Nordhavns without a flybridge.

Beautiful ship. Have you given any thought to single engine, dry stack, and/or hybrid propulsion system options? I have always had my eye on the 68 NFB as a possible choice for our family as we plan for retirement but wanted something much more modern in the gallley and entertainment spaces; and a different stateroom configutation. Seems you have been reading my mind. However, we are very very focused on TCO and operational simplicity for the owner/operator couple. Again, just a magnificent ship.
